Well, you will read down and see a post of my mom on her butt with grandkids on top of her. This was a funny moment for us but only 3 days later my mom found herself on her butt again but she wasn't so lucky this time. She went to the Sports Grill on Tuesday morning to help Fred get some cleaning done. She thought she would start out by spraying off the outside. She got one side done and had to drag the hose around the other side. As she was pulling the hose backwards, she was walking and a HUGE rock (that keeps people from hitting the garbage can) was in the way. She fell over it and put her RIGHT hand out to catch her. She sat on the rock and knew that she had done something wrong. So she decided to drive herself 14 miles to the hospital. She is lucky that she made it!!! She ended up having one of the nurses who was her neighbor bring her home after finding out that she had shattered her wrist. Angie & Fred brought her to Provo to see a specialist. She is lucky that the bones stayed in the right vicinity of where they need to be so she doesn't need a plate and screws. She was scheduled to tend Ryan's 2 youngest kids for 5 days while they went to Lake Powell. So... I went down on Friday and helped her out on Saturday and my dad has taken off work until Thursday to help her out too.
Then Owen decided he was going to help Grandpa shuck some corn. He was so cute helping out my dad.
My mom has been a super trooper through all of this. I know that she spoiled me when I was growing up by always being there for me when I was sick or hurt. I feel bad that I am not close enough to help her out when I am not at work. I was trying to keep up on things at her house and as sure as I would turn my back or leave the kitchen she was right in there trying to put dishes away, sweep the floor and even trying to grab a cantelope to hint that she wanted it cut up. I was getting so mad at her because she wouldn't sit down and let me take care of things. She will be crazy until she is able to at least move her fingers (in 3 weeks) to help her out. Mom, hang in there!!!
I just have to say that after trying to cook dinner, do the laundry, change poopy diapers & keep the house cleaned I was glad to be able to leave and come home to my quiet home. I forgot what it's like to have little kids under my supervision. I know that Ryan & Brenda will have so much more fun without their little one's on the lake but I know that my mom and dad will probably be happy to see them on Wednesday. Good Luck Mom & Dad!!!

Oh my word! Poor Claudia! I'm sure she is grateful for your help.
Wow! It looks like you have been busy even without baseball every weekend. I am glad you are enjoying your job. You work with some great people. Your family pictures are sure cute!
Love all the new posts. It's amazing how a job can keep you so busy that you don't get much done. The family pictures turned out really nice.
Looks like you have endoured some fun and exciting things the past few weeks. I am glad to hear that work is keeping you busy, you need it!
Hey emily now you can link me!!!
Your poor mom:( Tell her we wish her well! Your family pictures are sooo cute! I can't believe your youngest is 10. I was just telling KC the other day that if we stay in Arizona for 5 years Braxton will be 10 and Isaac will be 9. I can't even imagine that! It's so hard to comprehend. Anyways, keep up the fun posts!
PS
Sorry Kelly never called you back. I don't know what his deal is.
Oh my goodness!!! You probably do not remember me (or you remember me too well), but you helped me at Wal Mart in Ephraim! I had bronchitis and I was stuck out in the -24 degree weather with no coat, and I couldn't speak!!! How embarassing!!! I had lost my keys and my doors were froze shut! You took me to get some hot water to un-thaw my doors! ha ha I happened to find you on my cousin Amanda's blog and I had to say THANK YOU! You were so sweet to help out a complete stranger!
I can't believe everything you do. You are so awesome! I had so much fun with you at the wedding and I always love visiting with you!
I feel bad for your Mom. That is such bad luck! I'm sure she was very grateful for all of your help!
